Santa Cruz Police: High-End Call Girl Murdered Google Exec with Lethal Heroin Dose

Alix TichelmanCalifornia police have arrested a high-priced call girl, accusing her of injecting a married Google executive with a lethal dose of heroin on his yacht before coldly stepping over his body to finish a glass of wine and then fleeing the scene.

The San Jose Mercury News reports police in Santa Cruz say they have uncovered a video that casts serious doubts that Forrest Hayes, a 51-year-old Google executive and married father of five, died of a suicidal heroin overdose aboard his yacht, “The Escape,” last November 26.

According to police, Hayes met 26-year-old Alix Tichelman, a high-priced call girl from Georgia, on a “sugar daddy” website called Seeking Arrangement and met her in person several times before the pair met on the 50-foot (15-meter) yacht last November. Tichelman allegedly provided heroin for Hayes while on the yacht. A surveillance video from the craft shows Hayes “suffering from medical complications” and falling unconscious.

Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark claims Tichelman made no effort to help Hayes. She allegedly gathered her belongings and coldly drank a glass of wine before drawing a blind and leaving the yacht. The yacht’s captain discovered Hayes’ body the following day.

“She showed no regard for him,” said Clark. “She was just trying to cover her tracks.”

After identifying Tichelman from the video, police located her at her family home in Folsom, near Sacramento, and lured her back to Santa Cruz by posing as a client. She fell for the bait and was arrested on Friday at a hotel. Tichelman has been charged with suspicion of second-degree murder, destruction of evidence and transporting and providing narcotics.

In addition to the video evidence, police say Tichelman’s fingerprints were also found on a wine glass aboard “The Escape.”

Clark claimed the evidence demonstrates a level of guilt that surpasses involuntary manslaughter and constitutes murder.

“She was so callous that in gathering her things, she was literally stepping over the body and at one point stepped over the body to grab a glass of wine and finish the glass of wine,” Clark told KGO.

Hayes, who left behind five children and a wife of 17 years, worked in the auto industry before being hired as senior director of worldwide operations at Apple. He then left Apple for Google.

“Forrest will be remembered above all as a loving husband and father,” a January obituary in the Santa Cruz Sentinel said. “More than anything else he enjoyed spending time with his family at home and on his boat.”

Tichelman is being held in jail in Santa Cruz on a $1.5 million bond.
