Ft. Bragg Soldier Ruben Fox, Wife Amber Fox, Arrested for Alleged Sex with Dogs
A US soldier and his wife have been arrested and charged with crimes against nature for allegedly having sex with dogs and then posting videos of the illicit acts on the Internet.
The Fayetteville Observer reports Raeford couple Ruben Chance James Fox and his wife Amber Nicole Fox, both 23, were arrested by Raeford police on Monday morning.
The Foxes were charged with multiple counts of crimes against nature involving bestiality, disseminating obscene materials and conspiracy. Amber Fox was additionally charged with soliciting a crime against nature.
The Associated Press reports Ruben Fox is an active duty US soldier stationed at Fort Bragg, some 25 miles away near Fayetteville. A spokesman at the base confirmed that Fox is a specialist in the 82nd Airborne Division.
According to the cybercrime unit of the Fairfax County (Virginia) Police Department, explicit videos made by and featuring the Foxes engaging in sex acts with dogs were discovered being shared on an unidentified website. Raeford police were then notified. Raeford officers searched the couple’s residence in the 900 block of East Prospect Avenue on Friday, seizing cameras and computer hard drives.
Two mixed-breed dogs and three cats were also seized from the couple’s home and placed in a local shelter.
The Foxes are being held on $15,000 bail each.
On Sunday, Amber Fox asked ‘God’ to protect her family.
“Please help our oppressors to have mercy and see the truth,” Fox wrote on Facebook. “Please guide them and touch them Lord with your love. Please help guide us back to your holy path and do your holy work.”
This is the second time bestiality has made headlines in the past week. Four days ago, the British press was abuzz with the story of Graham Redfearn, a 41-year-old Shropshire pedophile arrested for allegedly having sex with a horse and two dogs and making videos of himself raping the animals. When questioned by investigators, Redfearn said he was “experimenting.”
Husband and wife bestiality arrests are far less common, but do occur with some regularity. In January, Canadian couple Ryan and Donna Fleury were arrested in Ontario and charged with marijuana, bestiality and firearms offenses after police found “evidence of bestiality involving a dog” at their home, along with 1,600 cannabis plants and illicit guns.
Last year, authorities in Maricopa County, Arizona arrested Shane and Sarah Dae Walker and charged them and a friend with felony bestiality after an undercover detective caught the couple attempting to arrange a group sex session in which Sarah would have had sex with a golden shepherd dog.
