Tennessee Woman Carrie Thomas Accused of Sexually Abusing Puppy
WBBJ reports 24-year-old Carrie Thomas of Reagan, Henderson County has been charged with one count of felony criminal offenses against animals, a Class E felony, after investigators acting on a tip said they discovered a homemade video of the young mother engaging in sex acts with her dachshund puppy.
According to the Jackson Sun, investigators obtained a search warrant for Thomas’ computer, which they sent to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. The TBI determined that the video of Thomas and her puppy was made about a year ago.
“We have video evidence to prove Miss Thomas was allowing her own animal to perform sexual acts on her,” Henderson County Sheriff’s Capt. Tracey Grisham told WBBJ. “I cannot explain it. My first thought wasn’t even a thought, I was just shocked because yes, we have to review the video and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”
In addition to the video of Thomas and her puppy, investigators say they also found other images of bestiality pornography.
“These were not homemade videos that were downloaded but it was all animal porn,” Cap. Grisham told WBBJ.
Authorities said they believe Thomas only abused the one puppy, which had been adopted by another family by the time police investigated the case.
Thomas faces up to six years behind bars if found guilty.
