Kenneth Enlow, Alleged Peeping Tom, Caught Hiding Under Tulsa Outhouse Toilet
An Oklahoma man is behind bars after allegedly watching a woman and her young daughter from under an outhouse toilet in a popular park.
The Tulsa World reports 52-year-old Kenneth Webster Enlow of Tulsa was arrested around 5 pm on Sunday at White Water Park. Enlow was covered in human waste when police apprehended him after he was removed from a holding tank below the permanent outhouse toilet.
The woman who noticed Enlow told police that she “saw the water move” when she looked into the toilet. “As she looked closer, she noticed that there was a man looking up at her,” Enlow’s arrest report states. The woman’s seven-year-old daughter also used the toilet at the time Enlow allegedly watched them.
Enlow, who was blasted with a fire hose after coming out of the foul outhouse toilet, told police that he’d been struck over the head with a tire iron and dumped into the toilet by his girlfriend. But according to the arrest report, no injuries consistent with being hit with a tire iron could be found.
Assistant District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler told reporters that Enlow was jailed on a peeping Tom complaint and could possibly face felony charges.
“Peeping Tom can be a felony,” Kunzweiler said. “It just depends on the facts and circumstances. There are a number of options, which we’ll review before deciding whether to file criminal charges.”
Enlow is far from the first alleged peeping Tom to have literally immersed himself in a toilet in pursuit of polluted pleasures. Last year, Vice reported on a British man who was caught “soaked head to toe in piss” after hiding behind men’s urinals in a popular London pub’s restroom.
And in June 2011, Colorado police hunted a man who hid in the basin of a portable toilet at a Boulder yoga festival. After being spotted, the ‘porta-pervert’ bolted, covered in human waste.
