Conservatives Pissed at Lena Dunham’s Memorial Day Toilet Tweet

Conservative commentators were left in a frothing rage by a Memorial Day message tweeted by actress/filmmaker Lena Dunham.

The 27-year-old Dunham, creator of the hit HBO series “Girls,” was already on many conservatives’ shit list after starring in the sexually suggestive “Your First Time” Obama campaign ad last year.

This time, it was Dunham’s perceived lack of proper patriotic reverence for the men and women who gave their lives for America’s freedom/empire/corporations/cheap gas that got right-wingers’ knickers in a twist. Here’s what she tweeted:

“Happy Memorial Day! I’ve already peed in two different Starbucks bathrooms!”

Dunham’s non sequitur left many scratching their heads, and many conservatives scratching the chalkboard.

“@lenadunham, what a rude, classless ingrate you are. #OberlinValues,” tweeted right-wing author, blogger and Fox News regular Michelle Malkin, who said that Dunham “pissed on Memorial Day.”

Believe it or not, Malkin’s tweet was one of the more polite responses to Dunham’s missive.

Conservative filmmaker and blogger Pat Dollard called Dunham “porcine” and posted a topless photo of her.

The less-known site Fire Andrea Mitchell called Dunham “ugly” and a “typical leftist hag.”

“I feel sorry for the toilets that had to receive the urine from that stinkhole,” hissed whoever writes for the site.

That wasn’t the worst of it. At least one person reportedly wished breast cancer upon Dunham, to which she replied:

“Just an FYI to conservative dudes tweeting hate at me: ‘I hope you get breast cancer’ is way more offensive than anything I’ve ever written.”

I am a combat veteran. I’ve lost a number of friends and a couple of family members to war and post combat suicide. I like Dunham, I think her show is poignant and funny. I don’t get the point of her tweet, was it supposed to be offensive. I don’t feel offended. Maybe she’s just staying hydrated. Who cares? Why don’t Conservatives defend the honor of our dead soldiers by not playing war games with our living soldiers?

Another predictable far left post by the king of d-bags himself. Never gets old.
