Henderson Police: Foothill Teacher Amanda Brennan Admits to Illicit Relationship with 15-Year-Old Student
According to a Las Vegas Metro Police arrest report, the parents of a 15-year-old male Foothill student notified authorities accusing Brennan of suspicious activity with the teen. Brennan allegedly picked the boy up at his residence last Wednesday and returned him after his curfew.
Detectives claim to have found around 1,000 text messages between the boy and Brennan’s cell phone that were sent between May 1-9.
The Las Vegas Sun reports that Brennan allegedly admitted to school officials that she went out with the boy and had an extracurricular relationship with him. She has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation.
The 15-year-old boy also allegedly admitted to having a relationship with his teacher; he told police that they loved each other and only kissed twice and cuddled.
