Hey Brett as your upgrading, would you please consider keeping the “leave a reply” area independent from other blogashere comment sections.

I have seen several sites that now use Disqus 2012, of which requires an Disqus account to reply, of which keeps track of all those comments attributed to a member, regardless of which news site the member has chosen to comment upon.

I’m not requesting you don’t use Disqus, I’m asking you to think about keeping your independent response area to continue to be a viable option, in additon to any other comment options that you may seek to develop, like Disqus.

I know the blogashere has been about being ‘connected’ the Twitters, FB, Disqus and others that subtly link, fix first & third party cookies, & accumulate a wealth of user information. I don’t trust these networks that have grown massive, and powerful, their results are often referred to as public opinion ‘analysis’, typically based on fuzzy likes and dislikes as well as other parameters. Sometimes these entities get into trouble, jeopardizing information flying in the face of what they claim in their one sided membership statements.

I like the independent comment section you now use because I don’t have to become a member of something to comment, all I have to do is have a name & email.

Any way you grow and change, I will probably continue to visit Moral Low Ground, because I like the various subject material provided.

    wild;)
