Florida Teacher Olivia Sprauer Asked to Resign over Racy Modeling Photos

A Florida high school teacher says she was asked to resign from her job after it was discovered that she was moonlighting as a model.

WPTV reports that Olivia Sprauer, a 26-year-old English teacher at Martin County High School in Stuart, planned to step down at the end of this school year. But Sprauer says she was called into the principal’s office on April 29 and shown a photo of her that had been brought to the attention of school officials. According to Sprauer, she was then asked to resign and was escorted from the school.

Sprauer, whose modeling name is Victoria Valentine James, seems to specialize in swimsuit and lingerie shots, many of them sexually suggestive.

“I am very open-minded and enjoy modeling for all types of shoots,” says James’ Model Mayem profile. “I love being in front of the camera!” She adds that she’s “more than comfortable shooting nudes for the right projects”

Critics of Sprauer’s dismissal argue that the photos are relatively tame, and that many music videos and popular teen TV programs contain far racier content.

Sprauer’s modeling photos pale in comparison with former Oxnard, California middle school teacher Stacie Halas, who was fired last year after the discovery of her porn star alter-ego Tiffany Six, or Samantha Ardente, a Canadian high school secretary who lost her job in 2011 after it was revealed that she also starred in an X-rated film.
