Fox News Regular Erik Rush Calls for Killing All Muslims in Wake of Boston Marathon Bombings
A conservative columnist and pundit has called for the killing of all Muslims after Monday’s deadly bombing attack on the Boston Marathon.
So far, there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that Monday’s attack, which killed at least two people and wounded scores more, is the work of Islamic terrorists. But within hours of the attack, WorldNetDaily columnist and regular Fox News guest pundit Erik Rush was pushing his final solution to what he perceives is the world’s Muslim problem.
Responding to refuted claims published in the conservative New York Post (which is owned by the same parent company as Fox News) that a 20-year-old Saudi Arabian suspect was under police guard, Rush tweeted, “Everybody do the National Security Ankle Grab! Let’s bring more Saudis in without screening them! C’mon! #bostonmarathon.”
Rush was just getting started. Twitter user Bill Schmalfeldt tweeted back, “Sweet God. Are you ALREADY BLAMING MUSLIMS??”
To which Rush retorted, “Yes, they’re evil. Let’s kill them all.”
Many thanks to some quick-thinker over at Right Wing Watch for posting this screen grab of Rush’s tweet before he deleted it:
In response to the ensuing firestorm over his shocking remarks, Rush has tweeted that he was only being sarcastic. He also slammed “Islamist apologist worms,” even though there is still no evidence implicating Muslims in the attack.
