It’s Like… KABOOYOW!… and Michelle Clark Becomes Instant Internet Meme
Unintentionally (?) following in the hilarious footsteps of Antoine Dodson and Sweet Brown, one Texas woman’s interview with a local TV station concerning a fierce early spring storm is about to go viral.
After a nasty hail storm battered parts of eastern Texas on Wednesday, KPRC was on the scene in Brookshire, where mobile homes were destroyed, cars were damaged and windows were shattered by quarter-sized hailstones. One awe- and hail-struck local took it all in stride, and gave an interview that instantly ranks up there with Antoine “Hide Yo Kids, Hide Yo Wife” Dodson (51.9 million YouTube views) and Sweet “Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That” Brown (24.4 million views) for sheer hilarity, if not (yet) pageviews.
“Man, those jokers was BIG,” Brookshire resident Michelle Clark said of Wednesday’s hailstones. “Size of a quarter, doggone!” Then, describing the sound of the barrage: “It’s like KABOOYOW! KAPOOYAH!… I opened my door, it started hittin’ me in my head, I took off running… (unintelligible)… and then I called my momma to see was she all right.”
