Texas Teacher Stephanie Raleen Forbes Arrested, Accused of Sex with Student

Stephanie Raleen ForbesA former theater teacher at a Texas high school has been accused by police of having a sexual relationship with a student.

Stephanie Raleen Forbes was arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child and improper relationship between educator and student. The 40-year-old taught performing arts at Clear Creek High School in League City but quit after accusations of the improper relationship led to an investigation.

Forbes is the third female teacher to be accused of having an improper relationship with her male students this year.

Kristina Ngum, 43, was arrested in Charlotte, North Carolina and charged with having sex with a male student.

And in Columbia, South Carolina, 34-year-old Kinsley Wentzky was arrested and charged with sexual battery of a 17-year-old male student.

A male teacher, Randy Carroll Hawkins, was also arrested in Blacksburg, South Carolina for allegedly molesting a 13-year-old female student and taking inappropriate photos of her.
