Lawyer Mom Convicted of Forcing 14-Year-Old Daughter into Child Pornography

Lisa BironA New Hampshire lawyer for an anti-gay Christian group has been found guilty of forcing her teenage daughter to have sex with different men for child pornography.

Lisa Biron, 43, of Manchester was found guilty in a Concord court of eight counts of felony child exploitation, transporting a child across state lines to produce child pornography and possession of child pornography. Biron took her 14-year-old virgin daughter to Canada, where she was given alcohol and marijuana and had sex with an older man while her mother recorded the encounter for child pornography. The jury, which took less than an hour to find Biron guilty, was shown graphic videos, including one of Biron performing oral sex on the girl.

Two men who had sex with Biron and her daughter also testified in court. Kevin Watson, a Canadian, testified that he met the teen online last year and had sexually explicit Skype sessions before arranging to meet Biron and the girl in Niagara Falls, Ontario about three weeks after she turned 14. Biron told Watson that it was the girl’s first time having sexual intercourse.

Biron’s voice could be heard on an audio recording telling her struggling daughter that sex “takes practice, baby. It’s not so easy.”

Another man, Brandon Ore of Lebanon, New Hampshire, testified that he met Biron and her daughter after answering a personal ad touting “two girls, 18 and 33, looking to party.” Ore moved in with them in July 2012 and learned weeks later that they were mother and daughter and that the girl’s true age was 14. He moved out two months later and turned himself in to police, triggering Biron’s arrest.

“The partying was out of control, the sex was out of control and she was charging high rent,” Ore testified.

US attorney John Kacavas called Biron her daughter’s “pot pusher, her pornography pusher and her predator.”

Biron was affiliated with and, as a lawyer, represented the Alliance Defending Freedom, an anti-gay Christian group that advocates for “religious liberty, the sanctity of life, and marriage and family.”

During her trial, Biron, a born-again Christian and recovered drug addict, credited God with turning her life around.

Biron will be sentenced in April. The minimum sentence she will receive will be 25 years.
