Cops: “Domestic Cannibal” Kristie Foley Bit off & Ate Her Mother’s Thumb During Fight
Police in Pennsylvania have issued an arrest warrant for a woman who allegedly bit off her mother’s thumb and ate it during a heated argument.
The Delaware County Daily Times reports that 21-year-old Kristie L. Foley of Upper Darby is wanted for the alleged cannibalistic attack, which occurred on December 15 in the apartment she shares with her unidentified 42-year-old mother.
According to police, Foley attacked her mother while she was taking a bath, lunging at the woman and biting her multiple times on her hand and legs. Foley allegedly bit off the tip of her victim’s thumb and ate it.
“This was a horrific domestic violence that turned into cannibalism,” police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said. “The victim is still in the hospital.”
“We don’t know exactly what they were fighting about but the victim suffered numerous bite wounds on the hand and both legs,” Chitwood said. “This was a verbal argument that went bad. It turned physical and the daughter went wild. We never found the tip of the thumb she bit off. We don’t know if the defendant swallowed it or not. She almost severed the entire hand because she almost bit through the area between the thumb and index finger.”
Foley is wanted for simple and aggravated assault as well as for harassment. Anyone who knows where she is is urged to notify Upper Darby police by calling 610-734-7677.
