Porn Legend Jenna Jameson Endorses Mitt Romney for President

Porn legend Jenna Jameson endorsed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney during an appearance at a San Francisco strip club on Thursday.

“I’m very looking forward to a Republican being back in office,” the 38-year-old former adult actress told a reporter from CBS San Francisco at the Gold Club in the city’s South of Market district.

“When you’re rich, you want a Republican in office,” she added as she sipped champagne in the club’s VIP room.

Jameson, known as “the queen of porn,” starred in more than 160 adult films in the 1990s and early 2000s. She won more than 20 adult video awards before moving into the production and business side of the industry; her ClubJenna enjoyed revenues of around $30 million by 2005.

Jameson’s endorsement would seem to indicate a political change of heart. She backed Hillary Clinton in 2008. In contrast, Ron Jeremy, arguable the world’s best-known male porn star, has voiced his support for President Barack Obama. But he also had nice things to say about Romney.

“I think he means well, I think he’s a good man,” the star of more than 2,000 adult films over the past five decades told the Boston Herald.
