Lesbian Couple Kenyata White & Aeimee Diaz Booted from Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel over G-Rated Hug and Kiss

A lesbian couple celebrating their anniversary were booted from a downtown Phoenix hotel restaurant because they hugged and kissed.

The Arizona Republic reports that Kenyata White and Aeimee Diaz, both 38, were celebrating their anniversary at the District American Kitchen & Wine Bar in the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel last Sunday when they were asked to leave. White says they were told to “get a room.”

“My partner and I were reminiscing … in one of the tall booths,” White told the paper. “I had my arm around her neck, and she had her hand around my waist. I gave her a hug for about a minute, pulled myself away to give her a quick kiss, and then we continued talking.”

At that point, a manager approached them and told them their “behavior was inappropriate and we needed to leave the establishment” because they were making other customers uncomfortable.

“By no means at all were we doing any inappropriate activity. It was a light kiss a kiss that you could give your friends on the lips. It wasn’t any make out at all and so we were very puzzled as to why we need to get a room,” White told ABC 15.

The couple was invited back for free drinks the next day.

After an outraged reaction on social media sites, the hotel went into damage control mode, releasing a statement on its Facebook page that said:

“At District American Kitchen & Wine Bar, we embrace diversity and are proud supporters of the LGBT community. We are taking this incident very seriously. Our restaurant is open for all to enjoy, and we sincerely regret that this incident took place.”

Hotel officials met with the couple yesterday.

“We had the opportunity to meet with the couple late (Tuesday) to listen to their story and better understand their view and how they felt,” hotel General Manager Leo Percopo wrote in a prepared statement. “We had a collaborative conversation, and both parties are taking this incident seriously. Together, we have identified opportunities in which both parties can unite and work together to foster diversity awareness.”

Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton also commented on the story on his Facebook page:

“Phoenix is a gay-friendly city and we welcome the LGBT community, not only because it is good business but also because it’s the right thing to do.”

This great country was founded on Christianity, the Bible was brought over by all who came…Christopher Columbus, the Pilgrims, The Puritans etc. NO!, these abominations by the law of G-D and in every G-D fearing & abiding church will say without any fear that they have absolutely no rights, Independence, or even the ability to remain in this country! These abominations, are worse than any illegal alien could & would ever be. We as G-d abiding servants should obey exactly what our Lord & our G-D tells us unless we do not truly believe & fear the one and only true and living G-D!!!

God bless you brother david martin for your profound comments: the bible says in Romans chapter 1 that even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convient. Romans 1:28. Lesbians lifestyle are in abomination in the sight of God and if kenyata white and aeimee diaz don’t repent of their wicked ways they are going to hell.

I tend to be a naturalist. Meaning, if it takes a male and a female to reproduce then that’s the order of things in the natural/normal world. Anything else is wrong and goes against the natural norm.

So couples experiencing difficulty having children are wrong to seek the help of fertility specialists? And infertile people go against the natural norm? What about the dozens of species of animals that engage in homosexual relationships?

My girlfriend and I were kicked out of the St. Louis four seasons for kissing in their hot tub. I am very proud of these women for taking a public stand. I know it is not easy and I encourage them to keep their chins up high! Be proud!
