CNN Contributor Dana Loesch Praises Alleged U.S. Marine War Criminals, Says She Would Urinate on Taliban Fighters Too

A prominent conservative radio host, CNN contributor and Tea Party figure has publicly voiced her support for U.S. Marines accused of urinating on dead Taliban fighters in Afghanistan.

Loesch endorses war crimes.

According to the Huffington Post, Dana Loesch, host of the conservative “The Dana Show” on FM 97.1 in St. Louis and a CNN contributor, said on her show that she thinks the Marines accused of the war crime are cool and that she would have joined them if she had the chance.

“I’d drop trou and do it too. That’s me, though. I want a million cool points for these guys.”

Loesch appeared flabbergasted that anyone would make a stink out of pissing on dead enemy fighters.

“C’mon people, this is a war,” she said. “Do I have a problem with that as a citizen of the United States? No, I don’t.”

In addition to hosting “The Dana Show” and contributing to CNN, Loesch is also the editor-in-chief of Big Journalism, a right-wing site started by reactionary firebrand Andrew Breitbart. She also founded the St. Louis Tea Party but has since left the group.

Loesch isn’t the only one voicing support for the alleged war crime committed by the Marines, an act that was filmed and posted on YouTube. The Huffington Post reports that conservative firebrand Pamela Geller, known as the “queen of the Muslim bashers,” blogged her love for the Marines, saying she doesn’t “CAIR that these Marines wee wee’ed on murderous savages.” She was referring to the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

The Palm Beach Post reports that U.S. Rep. Allen West (R-FL), no stranger to Geneva Convention violations, told those who are critical of the Marine’s appalling action to shut their mouths. E-mailing The Weekly Standard, one of the holiest publications in the conservative world, Rep. West wrote:

“The Marines were wrong. Give them a maximum punishment under field grade level Article 15 (non-judicial punishment), place a General Officer level letter of reprimand in their personnel file, and have them in full dress uniform stand before their Battalion, each personally apologize to God, Country, and Corps videotaped and conclude by singing the full US Marine Corps Hymn without a teleprompter.

“As for everyone else, unless you have been shot at by the Taliban, shut your mouth, war is hell.”

Rep. West is himself guilty of a war crime. While serving as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army during the Iraq War, he fired his pistol near the head of Yahya Jhodri Hamoodi, a captured Iraqi police officer. West was charged with violating the Uniform Code of Military Justice, relieved of his duty and fined $5,000.
