Strippers Posing as Paralegals Infiltrate Miami Federal Jail
Strippers posing as paralegals have infiltrated a federal jail in Miami, smuggling smut, booze and cash to drug lords on the inside.
The Miami New Times reports that visitor rooms in the maximum security Federal Detention Center (FDC) in downtown Miami have been “taken over” by South American strippers smuggled into the jail by lawyers working for rich incarcerated drug lords. In something straight out of a cheesy old porno flick, these busty babes have disguised themselves as paralegals in order to gain access to the facility. Officially “legal assistants,” FDC employees have to let them in.
“They take off their tops and let the guys touch them,” defense attorney Hugo Rodriguez told the New Times. “The majority of these young, very attractive women are noncitizens brought in exclusively for the purposes of visiting the FDC. Any lawyer can sign a form and designate a legal assistant. There is no way of verifying it. The process is being abused.”
It goes beyond just touching. According to the New Times:
One “discovery room” normally used to discuss trial strategy was recently closed… after guards caught an inmate and a paralegal “discovering” more than legal documents.
Another exotic dancer was caught in the act of stripping for an inmate in the Special Housing Unit; she was subsequently banned from the jail.
Also, “paralegals” have smuggled Playboy magazines, alcohol and even $3,000 in cash into the FDC.
