F.A.A. Investigating Alex Torres & Hope Howell Skydiving Sex Video

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating an incident in which two employees of a California skydiving company videotaped themselves having sexual intercourse on an airplane and while skydiving.

Alex Torres, a porn star who is also an instructor at Skydive Taft in Bakersfield, and Hope Howell, a receptionist at the company, had sex on the plane that carried them to the location of their jump. The couple continued copulating after jumping from the plane together. They made a video of the whole thing, set to the strains of Katie Perry’s “Extraterrestrial,” which you can see by clicking here if you are over 18 years old. 

The trouble began when a local teenager saw the video, which Torres had briefly posted online in hopes of impressing Sirius XM Radio shock jock Howard Stern, and shared it with all of his friends. It then went viral. Enraged parents then notified police, who in turn alerted the FAA.

The whole thing caught Skydive Taft owner Dave Chrouch by surprise. ”I didn’t know it until one of the officers came over from the Taft Police Department and informed me this was going around the kids in school and stuff,” he told KGET 17.

Lieutenant Ed Whiting of the Taft Police Department says no criminal charges will be filed, since both Torres and Howell are of legal age and nobody witnessed or complained about the actual jump.

An FAA spokesman told KGET 17 that the agency does not have any specific policy regarding sex on private planes. But activities that could distract pilots could run afoul of FAA regulations, and the agency is investigating whether or not this was the case.

Torres has been fired from his instructor’s job at Skydive Taft. Chrouch says he will decide what action to take regarding Howell after discussing the incident with her.
