‘The Moral High Ground’: Mila Kunis Accepts U.S. Marine Sgt. Scott Moore’s Invitation to Marine Corps Ball
It all started with a YouTube video of Marine Corps Sergeant Scott Moore, who is currently serving in Afghanistan, suavely asking Black Swan star Mila Kunis to the Marine Corps Ball.
“Hey, Mila, it’s Sergeant Moore, but you can call me Scott,” he begins with a smile. “I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina with yours truly. So, take a second, think about it, get back to me. All right, bye now.”
What happened next stunned Moore and everyone else. According to Us magazine, Justin Timberlake, who co-stars with Kunis in the romantic comedy Friends With Benefits, urged her to accept Sgt. Moore’s proposal when both actors appeared on FOX411. “You need to do it for your country,” he implored.
“I’m going to work on this, man,” Timberlake said, addressing Moore. “This needs to go down.”
And go down it will. Kunis accepted the invitation.
“I’ll go, I’ll do it for you,” she said, asking Timberlake. “Are you going to come?”
“They don’t want me! They want you,” the six-time Grammy winner responded.
Bravo, Sergeant Moore… way to score what will certainly be the most talked-about date to accompany a Marine to the ball in recent memory! And hats off to Ms. Kunis for accepting Moore’s invitation. You probably just made his year.
