Stunning Reid Gower Mini-Documentary Captures the Senseless Mayhem of Vancouver Hockey Riot

This stunning five-minute mini-documentary produced by Reid Gower vividly captures the senseless mayhem that erupted on the streets of downtown Vancouver Wednesday evening following the Canucks game 7 Stanley Cup loss to the Boston Bruins. More than 150 people were injured in the chaotic violence and dozens of businesses and vehicles were smashed up or set ablaze.

Sadly, this wasn’t the first time Vancouverites tore up their town after losing the Stanley Cup; Wednesday’s insanity was reminiscent of a similar riot following a loss to the New York Rangers in 1994.
