‘Douche du Jour’: Catholic Group Claims Children Raped by Pedophile Priests were Homosexual Participants, not Victims

Hot on the heels of a study– actually authored by the Catholic Church– that reported soaring allegations of child rape by predatory pedophile priests in the United States, comes a full-page ad in Monday’s New York Times bought by the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights. Incredibly, the ad blames the child rape scandal plaguing the church on “homosexuality, not pedophilia.” More shocking still, it claims child victims of clergy abuse were active participants in the sex crimes.

“The refrain that child rape is a reality in the Church is twice wrong: let’s get it straight– they weren’t children and they weren’t raped,” wrote Catholic League president Bill Donohue in the ad.

Funny, since the Church’s own report, released Monday, admits that the majority of sex abuse victims were between the ages of 10 and 14, with fully one-fifth younger than 10 years of age when they were first raped by predatory pedophile priests.

Donohue, who completely overlooks the thousands of girls raped and molested by Catholic clergy, ridiculously asserts that since some of the boys had gone through puberty, they were no longer children.

“We know from the John Jay study (which, coincidentally, was paid for by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops) that most of the victims have been adolescents, and that the most common abuse has been inappropriate touching. Inexcusable though this is, it is not rape. The Boston Globe correctly said of the John Jay report that ‘more than three-quarters of the victims were post-pubescent, meaning the abuse did not meet the clinical definition of pedophilia.’ In other words, the issue is homosexuality, not pedophilia,” Donohue wrote.

No, Douchebag Donohue, the issue is predatory pedophile priests– thousands of them around the world– raping children, irreparably scarring them for life, and the refusal of the Catholic Church to fully accept the blame for this disgusting pandemic. That blame, by the way, goes all the way to the Vatican– lest we forget, Pope Benedict XVI himself, then in charge of the Vatican’s morals watchdog, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, was aware of a huge scandal involving the Milwaukee archdiocese in which hundreds of boys were raped and molested from the 1950s through the 1970s. But instead of doing the right thing, the rape-enabling Pontiff did nothing. Well, that’s actually a lie– Benedict did do something… he helped cover up the whole nauseating affair.

It’s absolute craziness. There are many denominations, many “Christianities” but this, and I’ve learned it on my skin, is one that punishes you for being human. They teach you all human impulses, if indulged, will land you in Hell. And they come out with this inadmissible piece of trash as a defense? They should do what they preach, do nothing but repent. Instead they point fingers and look for improbable excuses (absurd!).
You can tell it is either an acid trip or pure delusion right from the bat in which they come out with this:
“the vast majority of new accusations extend back decades. For example, for the first quarter of this year, 80 percent of the cases of alleged abuse involve incidences that occurred before 2000. ”
Which should be relevant to people that don’t have the mental ability to do 1st grade (elementary school, of course) math.

Vitim blaming! Everyone can do it! Just follow these easy steps!
    1) lie your ass off
    2) lie about the victim
    3) just blame the victim for arbitrary nonsensical reasons

Re Crimes Against Humanity by Pope: Write The Hague Prosecutor by May 11, 2011. The Hague International Criminal Court will soon decide whether to pursue criminal charges against Joseph Ratzinger (otherwise known as the “Pope”) as a German citizen who is complicit in crimes against humanity, especially in light of the epidemic of pedophilia by Catholic priests.
Persons with evidence of crimes committed by the Catholic Church or The Vatican can now write directly to the prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in charge of this case, Dr. Luis Moreno Ocampo, according to the two German Lawyers who are applying to prosecute Ratzinger, Christian Sailer and Gert Hetzel.
