Georgia Sheriff’s Deputy Claims she was Fired for Refusing Group Sex With Boss & Female Colleague

Fired.

By her own admission, former Clayton County Sheriff’s deputy LaDonna Williams should have never been hired. But for Sheriff Kem Kimbrough, her many shortcomings were no problem. He paid for her general educational development (GED) course with county funds. When Williams also failed her National Crime Information Center (NCIC) exam, and its Georgia state equivalent, that was also no problem for Sheriff Kimbrough. Those tests are prerequisites for anyone who wants to become a sheriff’s deputy, but Kimbrough hired Williams despite the fact that she failed them both.

The reason why, Williams claims, is that Sheriff Kimbrough wanted to sleep with her.

Sheriff Kimbrough.

According to CBS Atlanta, Kimbrough, who is married with two children, was making sexual advances on Williams within weeks of her hiring. And he wasn’t the only one– Williams alleges fellow deputy Alicia Parkes also put the moves on her, sending her nude photos of herself and even grabbing her breasts.

“I got very angry about that,” Williams told CBS Atlanta. “The next thing I know she’s asking, ‘Would you have sex with both of us?'” Parkes was referring to a threesome with Sheriff Kimbrough.

Williams reported the abuse to internal affairs and filed a sexual harassment complaint. As part of that action, Williams reported that Deputy Parkes had videotaped another female employee in the bathroom. Even though Parkes has been indicted on felony charges for this offense, she’s kept her job with only a letter of reprimand as punishment. Williams, on the other hand, has been fired.

Deputy Parkes.

“I was fired simply because I did not have a threesome between Sheriff Kimbrough and Deputy Parkes,” she claims.

The former sheriff’s deputy also claims that she was told by the chief of staff that the only reason she was hired was because Sheriff Kimbrough wanted her there.

CBS Atlanta’s Wendy Saltzman attempted to discuss William’s allegations with Sheriff Kimbrough. “That is absolutely ridiculous and I don’t have time to talk with you about that,” he said, denying the charges. When Saltzman asked him why the county paid for William’s GED, he responded “I have no idea.” When the reporter inquired why such an unqualified candidate for deputy was hired for the job, Kimbrough walked away.

CBS Atlanta reports that this isn’t the first time Sheriff Kimbrough has been accused of having sexual relations with his employees. Internal affairs records show that he once engaged in a consensual relationship with a correction officer in the department.
