Video: U.S. Soldiers Gun Down 2 Afghans on Motorcycle

Yesterday we posted extremely graphic photos of rogue soldiers from a US Army “kill team” that murdered innocent Afghan civilians for sport, then planted weapons on their victims to make them look like insurgents. Some “kill team” members also kept body parts, like fingers and skulls, as souvenirs of their grisly murder spree. The photos were leaked to the German newsweekly Der Spiegel, which published some of them with the faces of the victims scrambled and left others unpublished. Rolling Stone decided to publish the disturbing images without editing, and Moral Low Ground, firmly believing that “sunlight is the best disinfectant,” also decided to run the photos. Rolling Stone also published this video, aptly titled “Motorcycle Kill,”  of  soldiers from the same 5th Stryker Brigade (but not from the “kill team”) gunning down two motorcycle-riding Afghans. According to Rolling Stone, the men may have been armed. But the magazine goes on to explain that “even if the killings were part of a legitimate combat engagement, … it is a clear violation of Army standards to share such footage.” One of the soldiers in the video can be heard bragging that he “got it all on camera”:
