L.A. Government Employee Dies in Office Cubicle; Nobody Notices

Are you trapped in a boring office job, with nothing to look at on three sides save the monotonous walls of your tiny cubicle, which eerily reminds you of a coffin? Ever feel like you could drop dead on the job and no one would care, or even notice, for that matter?

Well, that’s exactly what happened to 51-year-old Rebecca Wells, a compliance auditor for the Los Angeles County Department of Internal Services. Wells died in her cubicle last Friday and wasn’t discovered until the next day, when a security guard noticed her slumped over at her desk.

“I came in Saturday to do a little work, and I saw them when they were taking her out,” co-worker Hattie Robertson told KTLA.

The last time any of her co-workers remembered seeing her alive was at around 9:00 am Friday morning, meaning she was probably dead for more than 24 hours before her body was removed from her office.
