Planned Parenthood Caught in Undercover Video Sting Offering Advice, Treatment to Pimp, Child Sex Slaves

A Planned Parenthood manager in New Jersey has been caught on video offering advice and treatment to anti-abortion activists posing as a pimp and his prostitute. The video, made by the the group Live Action, shows Amy Woodruff, manager of Planned Parenthood’s Perth Amboy, NJ clinic, aiding and abetting the sex trafficking of minors, a federal offense. The shocking advice that Woodruff offered the pimp involved covering up crimes ranging from illegal immigration to sex trafficking to statutory rape.

The undercover “pimp” freely admitted that his girls were underage and in the country illegally. “Some of ’em are young, like fifteen, fourteen,” he told Woodruff. The clinic manager advised him to lie about the age of their sexual partners. “Just like and say oh, he’s fifteen, sixteen… we just kind of play it stupid.” She then gives them information on where girls age 14 and under can go to get an abortion. She mentions Metropolitan Medical Associates, an Englewood, NJ clinic that in 2009 paid a woman $1.9 million in an out-of court settlement for a botched abortion that left her comatose for a month.

The undercover prostitute then asks: “if it comes down that [the girls] do need an abortion, how long ’til they can be sexually active again?” “Minimum two weeks,” Woodruff replies. Concerned about losing money due to downtime following potential abortions, the prostitute asks if Woodruff has “any suggestions about what they could do” during those two weeks. “They still gotta make money, you know,” the pimp points out. Shockingly, Woodruff advises the underage sex slaves to work from the “waist up.”

Phyllis Kinsler, chief of Planned Parenthood of New Jersey, released a statement to the Washington Post saying “We were profoundly shocked when we viewed the videotape released this morning, which depicted an employee of one of our health centers behaving in a repugnant manner that is inconsistent with our standards of care and is completely unacceptable. The employee in the video was immediately suspended from her duties this morning and was terminated this evening.”

Termination may not be sufficient punishment. Sex trafficking of minors is a federal crime, punishable by up to life imprisonment. Any person who aids, abets or counsels a federal crime may be punished as if they had committed the crime themselves.

Planned Parenthood says it notified law enforcement authorities immediately following the encounter with the fake pimp and prostitute. At least a dozen other Planned Parenthood clinics in six states received visits from “pimps” claiming to be involved in sex trafficking last month. In every case, Planned Parenthood notified federal and state authorities.

Live Action, the group that carried out the undercover video sting, admittedly has an ax to grind with Planned Parenthood. The anti-abortion activists have gone on record saying their goal is to “take down” Planned Parenthood, which advocates abortion rights for women and girls, within 10 years, by stirring up controversy. Live Action was started by a fifteen-year-old, Lila Rose, who is now a 22-year-old student and activist at UCLA. She has been on a personal crusade against Planned Parenthood for years. “This

proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Planned Parenthood intentionally breaks state and federal laws and covers up the abuse of the young  girls it claims to serve,” Rose said.

Live Action and other abortion foes hope this shocking new video will aid them as they fight to end federal government funding of Planned Parenthood. The group receives tens of millions of government dollars each year to offer non-abortion family planning services to low-income people.

This is the Planned Parenthood version of events, which you included in your story: “Planned Parenthood says it notified law enforcement authorities immediately following the encounter with the fake pimp and prostitute. At least a dozen other Planned Parenthood clinics in six states received visits from “pimps” claiming to be involved in sex trafficking last month. In every case, Planned Parenthood notified federal and state authorities.”

My question is, who says Planned Parenthood notified federal and state authorities in every case? Planned Parenthood says. There has been no apparent attempt by any media organization to confirm what Planned Parenthood is claiming. I was taught “no attribution without confirmation” in Journalism 101.

Also, what constitutes immediate? The Perth Amboy clinic was visited Jan. 13, and five days later Planned Parenthood wrote “a letter” to Eric Holder. By then, Cecile Richards and company knew they were in deep dung, again, and they were trying to get ahead of the train. And what was their response when the video was released? “HOAX!” Mainstream media reported on what the video “purported” to show. Later that day, Amy Woodruff was fired and a PP mouthpiece was claiming her actions — not her purported actions, no mention of a hoax now — were repugnant.

Good point on attribution. I felt as if I was going far enough out on a limb by posting about this story in the first place, since this is a “far-left” blog and feminists and pro-choice folks are traditionally allies of socialism. Moral Low Ground, however, feels that killing in ALL its forms ought to be discouraged, and anyone who says that abortion isn’t killing is lying to themselves and to nature. In the name of fairness, I included Planned Parenthood’s explanation without verifying their claim of notifying authorities. I think Planned Parenthood’s shocking actions in this incident are damning enough on their own; any explanation or excuse they have for them seem to only make them look worse, not better.

im completely agree that the video was appaling and how anyone could even think of doing that is just sick. The only problem i have with getting rid of abortion all the way is that what if a young girl is raped adn cant stand the reminder daily of being pregnant through rape. That is the one time that i could understand abortion

In response to Jake about abortion being OK for rape…

    Think of it this way.

Do you have a best friend(s)? If you do, do you know how they were conceived? What happens if one of them was a product of rape? But their mother still kept them, even though it might of been hard. Would it be OK to kill them now since their mother would had to live with the rape? Right, that would be wrong. Same thing goes here. Why should you savagely rip apart a baby just because they were a product of rape? It’s a valuable human life, just like yours or mine. Going through rape is hard enough as it is. It lowers the woman’s self worth, it brings emotions in, frightens her, the whole 9-yards. When you have an abortion because of rape, it doesn’t, “get rid of the problem”. In fact, it actually makes it worse; it may even lead to suicide. On top of everything from the rape, she has to recover from the abortion and everything that comes along with that. Here is just a few statistics: Less than 1 percent of all abortions are because of rape. (1) On average, women give at least 3 reasons for choosing abortion: 3/4 say that having a baby would interfere with work, school or other responsibilities; about 3/4 say they cannot afford a child; and 1/2 say they do not want to be a single parent or are having problems with their husband or partner (AGI). (2) Abortions lead to a dreadful memory every year for the women. This is called an Anniversary Reaction. Every year on the day that she had that abortion, she will remember, and it will cause her much grief and trauma.(3) I’m sure that is the same for rape too but it is still bad. No mater what, abortion stops a beating heart.

I hope this clears any confusion for you. If you have any questions about that statistics, the links are below ( is good too), and you can always check out our page, .
